Installation

The T-Series is our standardized automation platform for fully automatic fastener installation. Parts can be loaded manually by an operator or by an external robot or handling system, while the installation process itself is executed fully automatically. The system can process up to eight different fastener types on one component, while the total number of installed fasteners is virtually unlimited. This significantly reduces installation cost, as no operator is required for the installation process itself, while the fully automated sequence ensures consistently high process quality and minimizes rework. As a standardized platform, the T-Series also offers major cost advantages compared to fully custom-built automation solutions.

Robot Automation is the preferred solution when part geometry, accessibility, or component complexity does not allow processing on a standardized T-Series machine. In these cases, the fastener installation process can still be fully automated within a robot-based manufacturing cell. This provides the same key benefits in terms of labor cost reduction, process consistency, and quality performance, while offering the flexibility needed for more demanding component designs and production setups.

For low to medium production volumes, we offer manual installation systems and tools designed to deliver efficient and reliable fastener installation. To maximize operator productivity, the process can be supported by automatic fastener feeding as well as a guided workflow through the machine control and HMI. This helps reduce handling effort, improve repeatability, and ensure process consistency even in less automated environments.

For applications with special requirements regarding volume, quality, component geometry, or production complexity, we also provide fully customized installation solutions. With in-house engineering resources, we can design and deliver complete bespoke production machines and systems tailored to the customer’s process and product requirements.
